Set of Tallit and bag for Tallit and Tefillin
Traditional Jewish men's prayer attributes and accessories by David Roytman.
Tallit is a rectangular coverlet, which in ancient times, Jews wore as a casual garment in the morning and used as a blanket at night. Nowadays, men wear the tallit for morning prayers after a wedding. It is an Ashkenazic custom.
Tefillin are two small leather boxes with handwritten passages from the Torah. Men tie it around the hands and forehead for prayer with straps.
The set includes a silk tallit and a genuine Italian leather case in which one can fold both tefillin and tallit. The palette of beige and brown will appeal to those whose closet is mostly in restrained, calm tones.
The inserts on the tallit are also made of leather. Images of Hebrew letters and the curved Star of David–which was exclusively developed by David Roytman–complete the design. The case features the brand's signature pattern.
