Pendant "Hamsa with ornament and Stars of David" made of silver
The traditional Jewish Hamsa is a talisman that protects against the evil eye. In Judaism, it is also called “yad ha-hamesh.” It translates as “the hand of the five” or “the hand of Miriam.” Miriam is the name of the sister of Moses and Aaron.
David Roytman's jewelers handcrafted this silver pendant, placing the Star of David symbol right in the center of the palm to be visible and eye-catching. The florid pattern of the piece is a reference to the ancient script.
The pendant will look well on a leather cord or a silver chain.
