Details & measurements
Mezuzah is a sacred scroll of parchment with the “Shema Yisrael” prayer. In it, God reminds Israel's people not to forget him and promises them blessings in return. According to tradition, the mezuzah scroll is attached to the doorjamb in every Jewish home.
The collection of exclusive mezuzah cases “Tzfat” is dedicated to one of the foremost spiritual centers of Israel, along with Jerusalem. According to legend, Tzfat was founded by Noah's son after the Flood. Now it is one of the four holy cities for Jews. The case is made of carbon.
In the center is a miniature bas-relief – the traditional letter “Shin,” the first letter of one of the names of the Lord - Shadai. It means “the fire of God that devours all His enemies” and is a protective symbol.

CHAI · MADE TO MEAN SOMETHING
An old commandment in a new material.
A mezuzah case in carbon fiber with a graphite finish. Carbon is what race cars and aircraft are built from: light, rigid, and unbothered by weather, which matters for the case that lives on a doorpost.
For the man whose home is modern and whose mezuzah shouldn't look borrowed from his grandfather's house. Case only; the scroll comes from your sofer.

Shipping is in the price
Worldwide, insured, tracked. The price on this page is the price at checkout — shipping included.
Engraved by hand
A name, a date, a line — engraved by hand on the piece, on the alder wood box, or both. This is what turns a purchase into a gift that gets kept.
A person answers
Sizing, timing for a wedding or bar mitzvah, a custom request — write to us before you order and a person answers, not a bot.
“If you want something done right, do it yourself.”
David Roytman heard it from his commander in the IDF and built the house on it. From Odesa, through collaborations with Valentin Yudashkin, to an atelier where every CHAI piece is finished by hand. Chai spells life. Every piece here is one chosen finish, no options to scroll through. He chose, so you don't have to.
