Custom Judaica and special orders
Custom Judaica and special orders
A custom order starts with a specific object. You might need a mezuzah case for an existing scroll, a kippah in a different material, an inscription on a gift or several pieces for an event.
What to send with your request
- The product link, photograph or drawing you want to discuss.
- The material, colour and dimensions you have in mind.
- The quantity and any differences between the pieces.
- The exact inscription, including spelling and date format.
- The delivery destination, required arrival date and budget.
If you are buying for someone else, include their fit or sizing requirements. A reference image helps explain appearance; measurements are still needed where fit matters.
A custom mezuzah case
Send the scroll dimensions and describe the doorway, including any exposure to weather. Confirm internal fit, mounting and whether a scroll is part of the request. The Jerusalem case guide provides existing designs to compare.
A kippah or group order
Identify the cut, size, material and fixation for each kippah. For an event, confirm whether everyone needs the same piece or different sizes. Read the custom kippah guide before preparing the list.
Engraving and presentation
Specify whether you want the inscription on the piece, its box or both. Send the final text as it should appear. Ask about space and placement before production; not every surface accepts the same inscription.
The engraving and personalization guide covers text checks and the separate engraving choices on CHAI pieces.
Before placing the order
Confirm the agreed specification, total price, included presentation and delivery timing. If the gift must arrive for a wedding or another fixed date, settle that requirement before production begins.
